U.S. Inflation Still Running Above Fed's Target in October.U.S. inflation numbers will be closely watched by policymakers on Wednesday for any further signs that resilient growth domestic product and consumer spending is putting a floor under price growth.

The annual inflation rate in Colombia eased to 5.41% in October 2024, from 5.81% in the previous month, slightly below market expectations of 5.71%. Inflation continued to slow for the fourth straight month, marking the lowest reading since November 2021. On a monthly basis, consumer prices declined by 0.13% after picking up by 0.24% a month earlier. It pointed to the first decline in consumer prices since November 2021, while market expected a 0.16% increase.
